  • John M. Miguelez, C.P., FAAOP
    John is a graduate of the University of Southern California and received his prosthetics degree from Northwestern University. John is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and the former Chairman of the Academy’s Upper Limb Prosthetic Society, and Member of the Board of Directors of the International Society of Prosthetists and Orthotists. He has specialized in upper extremity prosthetics for 19 years.

    He is the President and Senior Clinical Director for Advanced Arm Dynamics (AAD), a company that specializes in upper extremity prosthetics. AAD was formed to provide state-of-the-art techniques and componentry to facilities and patients worldwide.

    Traveling extensively throughout the United States and internationally, John manages clinics for patients with challenging upper extremity prosthetic requirements. He is an internationally-recognized lecturer on upper extremity prosthetic rehabilitation. He works closely with component manufacturers on education and component refinement and design. John has authored multiple scientific articles and chapters on upper extremity prosthetic technology and techniques. He and the Advanced Arm Dynamics team have exclusively provided upper extremity prosthetic rehabilitation services to wounded US soldiers from Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom at Walter Reed Army Medical Center since those conflicts commenced.

  • Dan Conyers, C.P.O.
    Dan has more than 29 years of experience in Prosthetics and Orthotics and has focused on upper limb prosthetics for the last 15 years. As national clinical director for a company that specializes in upper limb prosthetic rehabilitation, he provides upper extremity prosthetic consulting services to prosthetic facilities worldwide and is responsible for all clinical operations within his organization. Dan also participates in a variety of research and development projects, beta testing and design meetings with scientific groups, manufacturers and individuals.

    He is a member of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics (AAOP) and AAOP’s Upper Limb Society.

    Dan received his Associate of Science degree with Emphasis on Business Studies from Portland Community College, and then continued his education at 916 AVTI in affiliation with the University of Minnesota-Department of Orthopedic Surgery where he received his certificates for Prosthetic Practitioner and Orthotic Practitioner. He completed his residencies for both disciplines in Oregon prior to successfully passing his boards, and has continued his education through post-graduate coursework. Dan has received additional training in Advanced Upper Extremity applications from manufacturers such as Otto Bock, Motion Control, Liberty Technology, Vincent Hand and Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.

  • Creighton Uyechi, CPA
    Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Creighton graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.  After spending five years in public accounting and receiving his CPA license, he transitioned into private industry in a controller capacity.  His industry background includes real estate, private equity investments, import/export, and retail. He currently serves as controller for a company specializing in upper limb prosthetic rehabilitation, overseeing all accounting and administrative functions.
